Honey Badgers Coach, Felicia Anthony popularly known as ‘Da Bull’ has reinstated her belief that her team will escape relegation from the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship.
The Makurdi based club are on four points in group B and need just a point in their last game against Imo Strikers to secure their stay at the second division of the women’s football league in Nigeria.
Anthony is confident of retaining their status in the Championship as she brushes aside any relegation fear.
“I’m very happy with the performance of the girls against Lakeside Queens, because they played according to instructions,” she told Echonews.ng exclusively.
“I’ve already escaped relegation by the grace of God, we will come out stronger in our last game.”
A win or draw for Honey Badgers will prevent them from relegation against Imo Strikers.
