Imo Strikers Queens boss, Prince Chinedu Chidi has set a top target for the club as they begin their quest in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship at Sagamu.
The Imo based side gained promotion to the NWFL Championship from their first attempt in the Nationwide.
Prince Chidi told Echonews.ng exclusively, the club is working hard to get the expected target of getting promoted to the Premiership.
“We are working very hard to get to the expected target because we know it won’t be an easy fight,” he told Echonews.ng exclusively.
“Of course the target is nothing than getting promotion into the Nigeria Women Premiership league. There is nothing too difficult for our God to do, we look up to Him in all.”
Imo Strikers Queens founder, Prince Chidi said the morale of the girls is high and they are eager to compete professionally.
“By Gods Grace the girls are on high spirit and eager because all of them this is their first time in life to experience what is about to happen, like taking part in a professional league.”
