Gallant Queens coach, Adebiyi Adekunle has assured of correcting the club’s lapses in their subsequent encounters in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship playoffs in Abia State.

The Army Girls played a goalless draw with Royal Queens in their aim for promotion to the NWFL Premiership.

Adekunle said they came aiming for the three points at stake in a keenly contested tie.

He however believes there are more two more games to play for which will determine their promotional hopes.

“The game sincerely speaking about we didn’t plan for this, we planned for three points but at least now you know no team came here not prepared yes everybody are determined so for us now we need to go back to drawing board.

“Likewise they disallowed my goal sincerely speaking, nobody believe that but now that there’s nothing to back it up because there’s nothing like a what they call it VAR or goal line technology.

“Yeah, that is why I said we are going to go back to the drawing board and correct our mistakes.”
