Unification Ladies’ star striker, Feranmi Oyebamiji, is ecstatic about her team’s victory over Delta Babes in the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Championship.
The Lagos-based side secured a dominant 2-1 win in their inaugural season of the NWFL Championship. Oyebamiji believes Unification’s victory was a direct result of the team’s preparation and hard work.
She attributed her brace to the exceptional teamwork and compatibility among her teammates.
“I’m thrilled with today’s win. We put in a lot of effort to secure this victory,” She told ECHONEWS.
“Scoring two goals wasn’t easy, but my teammates’ support and cooperation were instrumental,” she continued.
“Hard work pays off, and we followed our coach’s instructions to overcome a tough opponent.”
Unification Ladies will face Ibom Angels in their next match on Tuesday, September 3rd.
