The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos State Council has congratulated Adesola Kosoko on her appointment by the Lagos State Government as the new General Manager of Lagos Television (LTV).
Kosoko, having served in acting capacity alongside Mrs. Toyin Ayanbadejo, DA/HAR since the exit of the immediate past General Manager, Mrs. Siju Alabi, was the Director, Contents Control and Operations of Lagos Television.
As a renowned public speaker and a reputable Master of Ceremony, Kosoko started her broadcasting career with Radio Lagos in 1992.
She later became a permanent staff at Eko FM in 1999 and later transferred her service on the request of the former CEO/PS, Jimi Odumosu, to Lagos Television in 2001.
The Media guru holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (Linguistics) from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, and a Masters degree in Public and International Affairs from the University Of Lagos.
She is also an alumni of the Netherlands Universities Foundation for International Cooperation (Nuffic).
According to the NUJ Chairman, Lagos State Council, Adeleye Ajayi, the appointment is timely and well deserved following her track records.
“It is on record that the appointee has excelled on the job as a reporter, producer, news anchor and programme host.
“The Union wishes her a successful tenure of office while hoping that she will bring her expertise to bear in uplifting the
station and for the betterment of staff welfare.”
