Newly promoted Nigerian Professional Football League, NPFL, side, Ikorodu City FC, have unveiled changes in the club logo.

The Lagos base club announced the new measure in preparation for the fast approaching 2024/25 football season.

Ikorodu City, established in 2022, stated that the new logo fully represents the side’s values, goals and communicates what the club stands for.

On the logo, the club retained the crest of the vintage-inspired highly regarded and brave hunter of the town, Oga, holding his key weapon of a shield. The club name is incorporated around the inside of the club crest.

Typographically, the use of Koba fonts are used for all “Ikorodu City” lettering and Galak Pro Demo. The official colour is Maroon, Yellow and White.

Followers of the club will enthusiastically be willing to support the club with the new logo presented as the side welcome fellow Premier League side, Kwara United, to the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan, Lagos, in a friendly match today.

The match is billed for 3pm.
