Lagos based side, Ikorodu City FC played a barren draw at home to Giant Brillar FC at Teslim Balogun, stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Ikorodu City FC which is the favourite and pride of residents of Ikorodu played host to Giant Brillar FC at the Teslim Balogun stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
It was a great encounter between both sides and the major talking point of the first half was when Ikorodu City FC, Tosin Oyedokun terrific shot hit the cross bar as they searched for their first goal in NNL.
On the other end, Giant Brillar FC sat back to absorb pressure from Ikorodu City FC and hot them on the counter, which only produced a shot on target for them.
In the second half, Giant Brillar FC had their own fair share of possession as they dominated proceedings but the goalkeeper of Ikorodu City FC, John Amah was at his utmost best as he pulled up great saves to keep the score line at bay.
Despite the number of chances created between both sides, the game ended in a barren draw as Ikorodu City FC begin their quest in the NNL with a point.
