FATE Foundation is deepening its footprint in youth development by equipping Nigerian students with practical skills, mentorship and access to opportunities that prepare them for entrepreneurship and meaningful participation in the economy. As one of the country’s leading enterprise support organisations, the foundation continues to roll out targeted programmes aimed at helping young people turn ideas into viable businesses and long-term careers.

At the heart of this effort is the Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme (AEP) Futuremakers, delivered in partnership with the Standard Chartered Foundation and Youth Business International. The initiative targets underserved students in their penultimate and final years of tertiary education, as well as persons with disabilities, offering hands-on enterprise training, business formalisation support and mentorship. Participants also gain exposure through placements with established entrepreneurs, allowing them to test their ideas in real business environments while building confidence and professional competence.

FATE Foundation is also driving campus-level innovation through the Orange Corners Student Ambassadors Programme, implemented in collaboration with Nigerian Breweries Plc and supported by the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The programme is designed to empower 1,000 student entrepreneurs across Lagos, Ogun and Enugu states, providing them with entrepreneurial training, mentorship, leadership development and access to networks that strengthen student-led enterprise culture and innovation on campuses.

Beyond business training, the foundation is extending its impact through scholarship support for outstanding students in STEAM disciplines — Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. The scholarships combine financial assistance with mentorship and internship opportunities, helping beneficiaries build strong academic and professional foundations over several years.

Through these initiatives, FATE Foundation is shaping a new generation of skilled, confident and opportunity-ready young Nigerians, creating pathways into entrepreneurship and employment while contributing to inclusive economic growth and sustainable youth development nationwide.
