The Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Akinpelu Johnson has assured residents of renewed hope and transformative leadership as Nigeria marks its 65th Independence Anniversary.
In a goodwill message to the people of Alimosho, the Chairman said the celebration goes beyond festivities, stressing that true independence lies in adopting new approaches to governance and leadership.
“Doing things the same way over time won’t yield desired results. Before the election that brought this administration to office, I assembled a team of experts and consulted widely both physically and virtually to explore fresh solutions. That process birthed our Wise Agenda manifesto,” he noted.
According to him, the impact of this vision is already visible in improved management-staff relationships, enhanced staff dynamics, and a more vibrant administrative atmosphere in the local government.
He further commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his bold reforms at the federal level, acknowledging the temporary challenges but expressing confidence in long-term gains.
“As we celebrate Nigeria at 65, hope is renewed for Alimosho. We will continue to pursue policies and programs that will uplift our people and transform our communities. Greater Alimosho is rising,” he declared.
The Chairman concluded with prayers for the prosperity of Alimosho, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large.
