New Ikotun Police Division DPO Pledges To collaborate With Council Chairman On Security

The Divisional Police Officer of Ikotun Police Division, CSP Oni Waheed, paid a visit to Comrade Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde, Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, to foster collaboration and combat insecurity in the community.

 

During the visit, CSP Oni expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and pledged to work closely with the council chairman to address security challenges. He also assured the chairman that he would prioritize the council’s requests and work towards ensuring a safe and secure environment for all residents.

 

Chairman Akinsanya Lasisi Ayinde emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence and security in the community, urging DPO Oni Waheed to make these priorities a central focus of his duties.

 

The Chairman informed CSP Oni of the council’s regular meetings with security chiefs, emphasizing his commitment to providing the necessary support to help the police carry out their duties effectively.

 

This collaborative approach highlights the importance of strong relationships between local government officials and law enforcement in ensuring the safety and well-being of communities. By working together, the council and police can tackle security issues and promote community engagement.

 

 

 

He urged the new DPO to collaborate with every other security operative to ensure the smooth protection of the entire Igando-Ikotun community.

We welcome you and we pray that your tenure here will yield positive results all round.”
