NanaFatimah Amele Bamigbetan Oncology Foundation Commends President Tinubu On Creation Of Cancer Centers

The Nanafatimah Amele Bamigbetan Oncology Foundation commends the Federal Government of Nigeria, under the leadrship of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, CON, for the successful commissioning of three new world-class cancer centres across Katsina, Edo, and Enugu States.

This milestone marks a significant step forward in improving access to quality cancer care and demonstrates a renewed national commitment to tackling the growing cancer burden in Nigeria through investment in modern infrastructure and specialist services.

As a Foundation dedicated to supporting cancer research, advancing treatment, and promoting equitable care, we see this development as a strong foundation for future collaboration between public, corporate and private stakeholders. We are optimistic that this accomplishment will open the door to further extensive collaborations that will improve cancer outcomes in every region of Nigeria.
