Afrobeats artist Naira Marley has issued a stern warning to his critics, saying their actions may lead to prolonged suffering. The singer expressed strong views about the consequences of negativity and disbelief, suggesting that many of those who criticize him would face hardship not only in this life but beyond.
According to Naira Marley, a large number of his detractors lack belief in God, heaven, or hell, which he considers a serious concern. In a statement shared on social media, he said, “Most of you do not even believe in God. You do not believe in heaven or hell, and that is fine. But most of you will suffer before you die, suffer when you die, suffer in the grave, and suffer in the hereafter.”
The artist also took the opportunity to speak on mental health, an issue he said is often ignored in Nigeria. He noted that many Nigerians live with mental health challenges that go undiagnosed and untreated.
“Are people even being diagnosed in this Nigeria? Many people have conditions like ADHD and PTSD, and there are people struggling mentally all around us,” he added.
Naira Marley’s remarks have sparked conversation online, with supporters and critics weighing in on his views regarding faith, criticism, and the state of mental health awareness in the country.
