The National Association of Ikorodu Division Students (NAIDS National) has unveiled the theme for its highly anticipated 2025 Legacy Week, marking another defining moment in the association’s history and its sustained commitment to student growth and leadership development across Ikorodu Division.
The Legacy Week, regarded as one of NAIDS National’s flagship programmes, is a period set aside for reflection, honour and forward planning. It provides a platform to celebrate the association’s journey, recognise the sacrifices and contributions of past leaders and heroes, and inspire present and future members to uphold the ideals upon which the association was founded.
For the 2025 edition, NAIDS National announced the theme as “Celebrating the Legacy of Our Heroes, Today’s Achievements, Tomorrow’s Legacy.” The theme, according to the association, captures its resolve to pay tribute to founding fathers and past leaders, spotlight present accomplishments, and deliberately shape a sustainable future for generations of students within Ikorodu Division.
Speaking on the significance of the unveiling, the association described the moment as more than the announcement of an event, but a defining point in its collective journey. NAIDS National noted that the theme reflects its enduring dedication to unity, leadership grooming, community impact and the overall advancement of students in the division.
The unveiling also officially signals the commencement of activities leading up to the NAIDS National Legacy Week 2025, which is expected to feature a range of programmes focused on leadership development, intellectual engagement and the celebration of excellence within the student community.
NAIDS National has called on members, alumni and relevant stakeholders to actively participate in the Legacy Week, describing it as a purposeful journey of remembrance, celebration and vision.
The association reaffirmed that through the Legacy Week initiative, NAIDS National remains committed to preserving its rich heritage while empowering today’s students to build a stronger, more impactful future for Ikorodu Division, stressing that the legacy not only endures but continues to grow.
