The Obasa Games 2024, organized by Kings Sports International, is set to take place in Lagos West Senatorial District, featuring a variety of sports competitions, including football, boxing, table tennis, scrabble, and chess. With a focus on grassroots development, the event aims to showcase the talents of youths from across the district, providing them with a platform to excel in their respective sports.

The football tournament, as announced by the Chairman Alhaji AbdulGaniyu Vinod Obasa, will include 32 teams representing different areas of Lagos West Senatorial District. Meanwhile, other sports competitions, such as boxing, table tennis, scrabble, and chess, will have 64 male and female participants each, allowing for a diverse range of athletes to demonstrate their skills and compete for top honors.

The press conference, held on October 25, 2024, at the council hall of Agege Local Government secretariat, served as an opportunity for organizers to share their vision for the event and emphasize the importance of fostering young talents in sports.

The Obasa Games 2024 organizing committee has announced that the football competitions will take place at two venues in Agege: the Anwarul Islam Model College on Oniwaya Road and the Dairy Farm Secondary School near Agege Stadium. The semi-finals and grand finale are scheduled to be held at the Teachers Training College (TTC) in Ifako Ijaiye Local Government Area, with the grand finale set for Saturday, December 14th, 2024.

Other games, including boxing, table tennis, scrabble, and chess, are scheduled to take place at the Agege Stadium indoor sports hall from Monday, December 4th to Friday, December 6th, 2024. This diverse array of sports competitions will not only showcase the talents of the participating youths but also provide an exciting experience for both the athletes and spectators.

The Obasa Games 2024 boasts an impressive prize pool to be distributed among the top-performing athletes in each sports category. Kings Sports International has announced the following prizes:
Football:

1st Place: N3,000,000
2nd Place: N2,000,000
3rd Place: N1,000,000
