Mushin LG plans rehabilitation of more roads

The Chairman of Mushin Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye, has disclosed plan to rehabilitate additional roads across the local government area in 2023.
The council boss made the declaration as he inspected the ongoing work on some roads, saying he would ensure that all the roads in Mushin are motorable before he leaves office.
The local government has already embarked on grading and rehabilitation of roads with the supervision of works department.
Led by the Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Funmi Peters, the council said it has already commenced grading of Ladipo Street, to make the road more motorable and accessible for the users driving from Ladipo Market, Palm Avenue and Amu Market through Mushin bus stop along Agege Motor road.
The team which has also commenced rehabilitation work on Okesanya Street and portion of Ojekunle street by Okesanya junction with de-siltation of drain along the road from Alhaji Amusa down to Ladipo junction of the Street.
The council boss reiterated that some other roads have also been billed for rehabilitation, promising not to relent in his effort to position Mushin Local Government in the smart city plan of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a greater Lagos.
