Mushin APC Unites Ahead Of LG 2025 Election Campaign

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Mushin Local Government officially kicked off its campaign for the 2025 local government election. At a crucial stakeholders’ meeting and flag-off event, the party’s leadership rallied members, ward executives, and community leaders to strategize for a decisive victory.
The atmosphere was charged with a renewed sense of unity as the party leadership emphasized the importance of working together to surpass past achievements.
Mushin APC Party Chairman, Alhaji Rafiu Shitta-Bay addressed the gathering, stating that the primary goal of the newly formed Local Organizing Committee was to ensure an all-inclusive government.
He stressed that success could only be achieved if everyone was carried along in the campaign. The party is committed to building on its past accomplishments and ensuring that the Mushin Local Government continues to thrive under APC leadership.
Chairman of Mushin LG , Emmanuel Bamigboye welcomed the party chairman and other leaders, including the Chairmanship candidate, Mr Tunbosun Aruwe, and his running mate, Mr Semiu Karaole. He acknowledged the primary election process, asking for everyone’s understanding and thanking the leaders for resolving political differences.
He praised the attendees for respecting the leaders’ opinions and highlighted the constitutional provision for resolving disputes and reaching a unanimous decision, a testament to the party’s democratic principles.
Bamigboye spoke highly of Aruwe, describing him as young, energetic, loyal, and supportive. He shared his personal experience working with Aruwe as a dedicated and generous individual who excelled at any delegation given to him. Bamigboye asserted that both Aruwe and Karaole possess the necessary experience and distributive mechanisms to effectively manage the affairs of Mushin Local Government.
He also highlighted his own administration’s achievements, including the construction of over 99 roads, a radio station, and improved healthcare services, setting a high benchmark for the incoming administration.
The party chairman urged all members to actively campaign and mobilize support in their respective wards. He insisted that every leader is an automatic member of the LOC in their ward and must lead by a good example.
