Morayo Afolabi-Brown Bows Out of TVC’s Your View After 12 Years

The longtime host of the morning show Your View on Television Continental, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, has stepped down from the programme after more than a decade.
A video of her final appearance was shared by the broadcaster on Friday, stirring emotions among viewers.
In the clip, both the studio audience and fans at home paid glowing tributes to Morayo for the impact she made on their lives and on countless women who tuned in regularly.
Her co-hosts praised her for redefining broadcasting with excellence, while guests commended her humility and her unique ability to shine the spotlight on others.
In a heartfelt message from the United Kingdom, a woman recalled how watching the show helped her cope with loneliness after relocating abroad, describing Morayo as a source of comfort and connection.
Speaking about her next steps, Morayo said the new phase of her career would be a fresh assignment. She explained that her immediate plan is to rest before taking on her next venture.
“This assignment on Your View is now complete. My first step is to rest and hibernate before embarking on my next venture. The show has given many women a voice and inspired other similar programmes. I am deeply grateful to everyone I met through this journey,” she said.
It was reported that the media personality resigned from TVC Communications after 12 years with the network.
Her resignation was confirmed in a statement by TVC’s Manager of PR, Corporate Communications and Marketing, Edward Akintara, who noted that her last working day will be Thursday, August 29, 2025.
According to the network, Morayo’s decision to step down is to allow her to pursue a passion project she has nurtured over time.
The company acknowledged her contributions to the growth and success of Your View, describing her exit as significant but assuring viewers of the programme’s continuity and quality.
