MohBad’s Death: Will Naira Marley Lose His NDLEA Status?

The police are yet to invite Nigerian-British singer Azeez Adesina Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley over his role in the death of another singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, MohBad.

A source told Echonews that the family of Aloba had not made any official report over the cause of the death of Mohbad or any suspect associated with it.

However, fans of the deceased musician had been accusing his former manager, Marlian Records of having hands in the death of Mohbad.

Some of the fans alleged during the burial of Mohbad in Ikorodu on Wednesday that the singer was hypnotised with juju by a gang working for Naira Marley.

However, Marley had denied having hands in the death of Mohbad, as he sympathise in a video over the demise of his former friend.

He said that he only had encounter with Mohmad in 2022 when the singer decided to leave his record labels for another manager.

Marley said that Mohmad spoke with him on phone that he would be leaving for another manager and later he came to his record label studio to attack him.

In that same year, Mohmad, now deceased released a video alleging how he was attacked by Marlian gangs and that the world should hold Naira Marley accountable in case he could not survive the pains from the attack.

Over a year now, the two had gone their separate ways with Naira Marley named as ambassador of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

Marley had visited the NDLEA office to renounce his use of hard drug and Marijuana, thus becoming the agency ambassador amidst criticism that he had not totally changed.

But then the demise of Mohbad had opened another chapter in which his name is being mentioned in the media as a culprit.

In a new video, it was reported that Marley’s house was attacked by people believed to be fans of Mohbad while himself had not physically shown up in the public.

On social media platforms, many fans of the deceased singer had been threatening to attack Marley while some are calling on NDLEA to stripped him of his ambassadorial status.

The only time the police arrested Naira Marley was in October, 2020 when he broke COVID-19 rule to hold a concert in the FCT Abuja.

Meanwhile, the various evidences as shown in the video by Mohbad should guide the police to get involved in this case.
