Mohbad: Court Frees Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Summons Auxiliary Nurse

The saga to unravel incidents leading to the death of Afro-Pop star, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, continued at the Yaba Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday in a sitting presided by Magistrate Ejiro Kubeinje.
At the proceeding, Kubeinje acquited musician, Abdualzeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, alongside internet influencer, Samson Balogun, known as Sam Larry.
The magistrate, having read the legal advice issued by the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecution said that the duo have no case to answer in the saga.
Others freed include Owodunni Ibrahim, identified in court as Primeboy alongside former manager to Mohbad, Opere Babatunde.
However, the court summoned the presence of an auxiliary nurse identified as Feyisayo Ogedengbe and one Ayobami Sadiq for trial.
The duo were accused of recklessness and negligent acts, both contrary to Section 251 (e) of the Criminal Law, Ch C.17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.
The duo will be prosecuted at the magistrate court.
