Zainab Kazeem wowed fans and spectators alike at the just concluded Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup with her mouthwatering saves and coordination of her defense.
The dark skinned goalkeeper did her job as she ensured that her team reached the final and win the trophy of the Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup.
Zainab Kazeem conceded the least goal of the tournament as she smiled home with the golden glove which is to appreciate and recognize her fantastic performance in the Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup.
Zainab Kazeem, who has great reflexes have proven herself as one of the key goalkeepers to watch out for in the future.
“I feel very happy, it was what I was expecting throughout the years, that I believe my hard work is going to pay.
“At the beginning of the year, I set a target for myself to win the best goalkeeper award at a tournament and I’m happy that I achieved this feat at the last tournament of the year.
“I believe that I should work towards it and I worked towards it and I achieved the feat.
“I want to also appreciate my coach too for everything he has done to bring me this far.
“I look up to so many goalkeepers in the game, among them is Chiamaka Nnadozie.
“The individual award will add more values to my career because it will spur me to work harder because hard work pays.
“I pray and believe that I will be in Europe and many countries in the next 5 years by the grace of God.”
