The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has given Markaz the green light to commence National Diploma programs in Combined Law and Common Law.

This approval follows a rigorous resource verification process conducted by a team from NBTE, ensuring that Markaz possesses the necessary resources and capabilities to effectively deliver these two programs.

During the verification process, NBTE’s team thoroughly inspected various facilities at Markaz, including the school’s library, classrooms, offices, clinic, Moot Court, Digital Technology and Language Laboratory, Information Communication and Technology Centre, Conference Room, Seminal Hall, Indoor Sports Halls, School Hostel, and other relevant facilities.

According to the Mudeer of Markaz, Mawlana Sheikh Muhammed Habibullah Adam Abdullah El-Ilory (OON), “the vision of Sheikh Adam Abdullah El-Ilory was to advance educational standard and level as well as promoting the understanding of Islam by all necessary means. Since the Qur’an is the first primary source of Islamic Law, it is good for us to incorporate Islamic Legal Studies in order to promote the understanding of Islam, the Qur’an and to give support to humanity.”

With this achievement, students of Markaz as well as other Muslims from different Arabic and Islamic schools can now proceed for Legal Studies at Markaz where they can obtain ND in Sharia and Common Law (Combined Law) and ND in Common Law.

This will create more opportunities for them in life without compromising their Islamic way of life.

Admission for these two programmes will only be through UTME of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board with relevant O level result (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NBAIS).
