Man Arrested Over Theft Of Fence Wire

One Adamu Ismail has been arrested for stealing fence wire in Ojota Lagos.

27-year-old Ismail was arrested by officials of the Lagos State Parks and Gardens Agency, LASPARK, on Monday after been paraded with the stolen items and thereafter handed over to Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps, LAGESC, for neccessary prosecution.

The Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab said that the arrestee stole the items at Peace Park, Ojota.

Reacting to the act, Wahab said, “Acts of vandalism against public infrastructure will not be tolerated. These facilities belong to all of us, and protecting them is a shared responsibility.

“We will continue to enforce without compromise to safeguard public assets across Lagos.”
