Owoseni primary school on Monday played host to large crowd of party members who attended the Justice Forum meeting of the Oshodi-Isolo local government. The large crowd of party faithful decked in a white and blue attire with a blue fez cap.
The meeting started with the introduction of dignitaries from the state justice forum, who were sent to witness the proceedings of the meeting from the state chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Justice Forum caucus.
Party leaders, elders from the local government were also in attendance in their numbers. They looked resplendent in their white and blue attire.
During the meeting, the Justice Forum local government executive members were announced.
The local government executive which is chaired by Hon. Rafiu Olasunkanmi Usman aka Manruffy; Hon. Leke Banjoko, Secretary and Hon. Smart Akinleye, Treasurer were unveiled and inaugurated by the Justice Forum State Financial Secretary, Hon. Nelson Ifeanyi, who also administered oath of office for the executives.
The seven wards executives were also unveiled and inaugurated by Justice Forum Reps from Amuwo-odofin LGA, who charged them to work diligently for the success of the group.
Member of the House of Representatives representing Oshodi-Isolo federal constituency 1, Hon. Dr. Bashir Dawodu, in a short speech welcomed everyone to the gathering, charged them to work harder for the interest of the party at all times.
The council chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, congratulated the party stalwarts in attendance for being part of the winning team. He thanked them for their time and disclosed that the other aggrieved members will soon join the fold.
He noted that anybody can contest for any post, chairman inclusive. He noted that the more, the merrier. He, however, noted that anybody that wants to contest should be sure of themselves in terms of pedigree and track records; and such a person should be a good product that is sellable to the public.
He hammered that nobody should because of their individual interests truncate the peace, harmony and oneness of the justice forum and the party in general saying the interest of the party matters.
The council chairman said the Justice Forum is open to all and that the aggrieved members will do well by dropping their personal interest for the general good of the party.
The State Justice Forum Women Leader, Hon. Abisola Solagbade, expressed happiness at the magnitude of people that turned out for the meeting, noting that Justice Forum in Oshodi is strong and virile. She disclosed that the impressive large turn out will be part of her report when she reports back to the state body.
The State Treasurer, Hon. Mumuni Olori also welcomed members, noting that together, Justice Forum, and by extension APC will be victorious in the coming elections.
The APC chairman of the local government, Hon Saheed Animashaun ensured all activities went as planned as he supervised the process making sure everything went smoothly.
He equally admonished the newly inaugurated executives to live up to expectations and even surpass them as they need to hit the ground running immediately.
He thanked all members for their time and presence assuring them of the party’s success in all fronts as he charged them to work in their various wards and zones for the party interest.
