The Chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat has urged Muslim faithful to pray and seek the face of Allah for peace, progress, and development in our Local Government, Lagos State, and Nigeria as a whole during the 2024/1446AH Maloud Nabiyy, which signifies the day Prophet Muhammad was born.
Muslims worldwide honor the Prophet Muhammad’s life and teachings by marking the Maulud Nabiy, a day of reflection and celebration held annually on the 12th day of the Islamic month of Rabiu AL-Awal.
Hamzat extended his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community in the local government and beyond on the auspicious occasion of Maulidu-N-Nabiyy. He also recognizes the significance of this holy day in Islamic culture and tradition, which celebrates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
Through his message, he underscores the importance of commemorating the life and teachings of the Prophet, as they continue to inspire and guide Muslims across the world
In Conclusion he charges resident to reaffirm their commitment to fostering unity, tolerance, and understanding within and outside the Local Government.
