Ikorodu based football club, Lofty Skills Soccer Academy is set to hold a trial program where aspiring football players will have the opportunity to be scouted and be given the opportunity of becoming a professional player.
Speaking to ECHONEWS, the founder of Lofty Skills Soccer Academy, Bola Yusuf said the purpose of the trial is to scout for talented players between the ages of 14 to 19 and expose them to international agents.
“The trial is an avenue to for us to get talented young players between the ages of 14 – 19 years of age who will in turn to exposed to both our local and international agents who are presently on a catch them young development project.
“The benefits for players selected included free accommodation, free membership, opportunities to get exposed to local and international agents, player mentorship, development and opportunity to feature for Local and International League clubs.
“We are looking to select between 8-10 players in each categories of U14/15, U16/17 and U19.
“The selected players will be camped, join training sessions and will definitely be integrated into the team as soon as they blend.”
