The construction of Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) at Ashabi Taiwo in Obawole Area of Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government has been completed.
The council chairman, Prince Usman Hamzat said the construction of the PHC followed the rehabilitation of the one at Iju-Ogundimu.
According to the chairman, he embarked on review of the Primary Health Care facilities across the council area with the aim of fixing and equipping them for utmost functionality.
“The PHC at Ashabi Taiwo Street in Obawole now wears a new face-lift with good paint, floor, roof and  electrical fittings and other major structural changes.
The new PHC is said to improve health care deliveries for the people of Obawole and Ifako-Ijaiye in general who had been longing to assess health facilities within the area.
Over the years, Ashabi Taiwo PHC was said to be structurally deteriorated, causing setbacks in accessing health facilities.
Hamzat assured the residents of accelerated efforts in primary health care service delivery across the Local Government Area.
He said he has recently donated medical equipment to PHCs in Ifako-Ijaiye to enhance quality health care services across board.
