LG Polls: Ojon, family heads endorse Obe

As part of the usual political marshalling and permutations expected in election period, the Ojon of Ejigbo, Oba Moroof Adisa Ojoola (Imakiyo II) in collaboration with all indigenous family heads has unanimously announced their endorsement and support for Hon. Monsurudeen Bello (Obe) in the race to emerge the flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the next local government elections.
At a special rally to mark the event at the palace of the monarch, Oba Ojoola announced that the meeting was held to unite the entire indigenous families of Ejigbo and to endorse Obe, the son of the land.
He noted that Obe has achieved remarkable feats in the last three and a half years and the indigenes are happy that he has proven to be a good ambassador.
This, he said, influenced the decision to endorse him for re-election.
Urging the families to forgive each other and embrace unity for the peace and development of the community, Oba Ojoola appealed to indigenes of Ejigbo to come out enmasse and vote for the candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming council polls..
While speaking to Echonews on behalf of the entire indigenous family heads in Ejigbo, the family heads of Abereijo and Ojomo families, Alhaji Nureini Sulaiman (Odofin of Ejigbo land) and Alhaji Yisa Oseni, respectively pledged to mobilise their family members to vote Obe and his councilors at the next polls.
They revealed that aside from various community projects executed, Obe has significantly contributed towards the development of the entire indigenous families in Ejigbo.
In his closing remarks, the Grand Chief Imam of Ejigbo, Alhaji (Dr) Mukaila Sanni appreciated the efforts of Obe for his credibility which has enhanced community trust in him while advising him to continue to do better when he gets the ticket.
