Leading Lagos FA Cup goal scoring chart, great honour – Taiwo Lawal

Taiwo Lawal won the MVP of the WGB Lagos FA Cup semi final match between FC Robo Queens and Papa Soccer Academy at Alade Stadium, Abule Egba, Lagos.

Lawal, who has been in a blistering form for FC Robo Queens lately, has scored a total of six goals in the WGB Lagos FA Cup, she scored three goals in the quarter final game against Nakamura FA and scored another hat trick against Papa Soccer Academy to reach the final of the Lagos FA Cup and subsequently qualified for the Aiteo (Federation) Cup.

The Nigeria international U20 Super Falconets striker, who also has three assists to her name, told ECHONEWS she felt great and would do everything possible to help the team win the Lagos FA Cup and the Aiteo (Federation) Cup.

“I feel happy and great with my goal scoring exploit in the Lagos FA Cup and I believe I can do better as we qualify for the Aiteo Cup holding this year.

“We will do everything possible to get to the final of the Aiteo Cup this year and win it because that’s our target.”
