LCL: FC Brave crush Collins Edwin 4-2

FC Brave leapfrog to the 8th position on the Lagos City League (LCL) table after crushing local rival 4-2.

FC Brave defeated Collins Edwin with a fantastic performance leaving Collins Edwin on the 12th position on the league table.

Tricky and fast paced winger Lateef Aborishade contributed to assist in the game for Dolapo Lekan and Seun Fashina who grabbed a brace in the match while influential figure in the team, Aliu Ali, scored a fantastic free kick to cap out a great day for FC Brave.

Lateef Aborishade of FC Brave dribbled and raced past Collins Edwin defenders before providing an assist for Dolapo Lekan to bang in the opener in the match.

A goal separated both sides in the first half as lots of chances were created but only one chance was utilised by the players.

The defenders of Collins Edwin could not hinder Lateef Aborishade as he proved a nightmare to their defense line.

Aborishade notched in another assistance for Seun Fashina to take the driver’s seat of the match.

Charismatic influential attacking midfielder, Aliu Ali, displayed a great performance at the heart of the midfield by firing in a fantastic free kick to give FC Brave a 3-goal lead.

Collins Edwin pulled a goal back in the 67th minute to make it 3-1.

Aliu Ali gave assistance to Seun Fashina, who grabbed a brace in the match by finding the back of the net in the 70th minute.

Collins Edwin also scored another goal at the death of the game to end the scoreline at 4-2 in favour of FC Brave.
