Having heard the Clerk of the House, Barr. Olalekan Onafeko read out the letter, Speaker, Mudashiru Obasa disclosed that only one of the nominees, Mr. Abiodun Ogunleye, who is a Commissioner-nominee has his name presented and five others for in quest for the Special Adviser position have their identities not revealed.

The lawmakers opted to write back to the Governor in request of the other nominees’ names for proper analyses stating that it is imperative to know in detail who becomes part of the cabinet.

Reacting, Deputy Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Damola Kasunmu observed that the letter did not follow the usual procedure of revealing the identities of the nominees. He said that the process of not mentioning the names seems like coming through the backdoor.

He was supported by his colleagues, Hon. Ladi Ajomale and Hon. Owolabi Ajani, who noted that the previous lists from the governor had details of the nominees and that this made the screening by the ad-hoc committee easy.
