Lawmaker Solicits Youth Engagement In Oshodi-Isolo

Lawmaker at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Honourable Ladi Ajomale, has called for youth-led programs in Oshodi-Isolo Constituecy.

The legislator solicited for a reform in youth’s activities to further propel developments in the area.

Making the recommendations during an interactive session held with coordinators of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Ejigbo and Isolo zone, along with the representatives of the Lagos State Youth Parliament (LYP) for Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 2, Ajomale hinted that there is a need to improve the engagements of the youths in Key areas such as education, employment, empowerment, to mention few.

The lawmaker also emphasized on the sacrosanct need to get the youths involved as they hold a significant roles in driving the growth and opportunities for the people in the area and beyond.

Ajomale while appreciating the efforts put in place by the youths to ensure that the constituency attains greater heights charged them to continue in such trend so as to contribute to the democratic developments in the state as a whole. He also called on leaders and necessary stakeholders in the community to show them the needed support as they gear themselves up in more positive impacts.

The Coordinator, NYCN, Ejigbo Branch, Comrade Femi Shomuyiwa, lauded Ajomale for holding the session with his entourage. He disclosed that the council has experienced remarkable progress due to the efforts put in place by necessary stakeholders who are keen on rendering democratic dividends to residents in the area.

He assured that the youths in Ejigbo will continue to put in efforts to attain more remarkable feats.

Comrade Akibu Sikiru, NYCN Coordinator for Isolo Local Branch, said that youths in the community will collaborate with necessary stakeholders to continue the positive trend buyoing up area.

According to him, the NYCN will continue to offer unwavering dedication and commitment to the growth and development of the community.
