Lawmaker Presents Free JAMB Forms In Mushin
By Felix Kuyinu
A lawmaker at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Nureni Akinsanya, has given out free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, forms to residents in Mushin.
Akinsanya said that the initiative, which had 70 beneficiaries, was a testament to his commitment towards supporting educational welfare for students with less privileged backgrounds.
The legislator, who was represented by a stakeholder in the community, Wasiu Badejo, noted that many students with potentials of excelling in their academics face constraints in pursuing higher education learning due to their parents not being able to afford the examination form.
He said: “This initiative, along with other scholarship programs, is an annual effort to ease the financial burden on parents and students.
“There are also orphans who have lost their parents and have no one to support them educationally.
“The distribution is set to continue on Thursday and Friday.”
