The workshop was facilitated by Engr. Oduwa Agboneni, who donated a free Wi-Fi to the College of Engineering as her contribution to the growth and development of the students.

The Dean of College of Engineering, Engr. Yakub Bankole, urged the students to take the opportunity to learn seriously, saying it was a great privilege for them. He appreciated the convener of the project, Engr. Oduwa Agboneni and her team for bringing the opportunity to the University.

Agboneni in her address pointed out that the idea was to educate the students on data analytics as an engineering skill. She urged the students to be attentive and leverage the opportunity to learn as it will benefit them even outside the shores of the University.

Dr. Omopeju Afanu, the business partner of the project, a trained medical doctor who also pursued a course in the Engineering field and practiced as an engineer, advised the students to be open to opportunities abound around them at all times. “Everything around you spells and smells opportunities, be a problem solver to leverage such opportunities by being open minded to tap them as the opportunities breed success and when you are successful, money comes,” she added.
