Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board has raised the alarm over recruitment scam alert that is being circulated across social media platforms.

A statement from the SUBEB Public Affairs unit, signed by Enitan Adewumi condemned the fake information and dissociated the board from it.

It reads in part, “It has come to our notice that some fraudulent individuals have been posting job advertisements on some websites offering teaching positions for primary school teachers in Lagos State and requesting registration by filling recruitment forms online.

LASUBEB categorically dissociates itself from these adverts and website offerings regarding this subject. The job advertisements are entirely false and are intended to defraud unsuspecting members of the public. We clarify that we have not engaged any individual or job website to advertise job positions on behalf of the Board.

All job advertisements that suggest the contrary should be disregarded. In the event that any individual receives email from any platform or website advertising teaching opportunities for public primary school teachers, please DISREGARD the message, do not supply any personal details nor make payments to any individual or website.”
