General Manager of LASODA, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal emphasised the critical importance of inclusive education. She highlighted that accessible and tailored educational programmes are vital for equipping PWDs with essential skills, thereby improving their employment prospects, fostering independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Mrs. Oyetunde-Lawal underscored that true inclusivity hinges on accessibility within educational systems, advocating for accommodations that cater to the diverse needs of various disability clusters. “No one should be left behind,” she stated, reiterating LASODA’s commitment to ensure equitable access to quality education for all.

These, according to her, include dedicated admission quotas, disability-friendly curricula, and the integration of assistive technologies, all specifically tailored for learners with disabilities.
She added that LAGAME is keen on fostering progressive partnerships that support the academic, social, and emotional development of PWDs, reinforcing her agency’s commitment to creating a more inclusive and accepting learning environment.
The burgeoning collaboration between LASODA and LAGAME signifies a shared dedication to advocate for robust inclusive education policies.
