LASG Sensitises Communities On Water Sanitation

Lagos State Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, through the Technical Services Department, has embarked on sensitisation programme for residents of Akarakumon and Igborosun communities in Badagry Local Government Area on water sanitation to promote good health.

According to the Ministry, the programme themed “Water Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion through Community-Led Total Sanitation and Hygiene Practices” is one of the many efforts of the State Government geared towards reiterating the importance of water sanitation and hygienic practices in rural communities across the State.

Seasoned facilitators addressed the importance of staying healthy through hygienic practices.

The project is said to be the second of the 2023 series of Hygiene-Advocacy Programmes the Ministry would organise in implementing the T.H.E.M.E.S. Agenda of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu towards making Lagos State a 21st Century Economy, and building a Greater Lagos.
