LASEPA Inspects Zonal Office Construction Site In Amuwo-Odofin

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA, has paid an oversight visit to it’s zonal office construction site in Amuwo-Odofin.

The agency’s General Manager, Babatunde Ajayi, alongside Director, Zonal Directorates, Abiodun Ogunleye, while visited the scene, said that the inspection was aimed at assessing the progress of the exercise.

The agency mentioned that the project, when completed, will enhance LASEPA’s operational efficiency in the region and also further its mission of ensuring a safer and cleaner environment.

Ajayi stated that the completion of the office will ensure standard regulations are complied to through effective monitoring.

The DG, while reiterating LASEPA’s commitment towards establishing fully functional and accessible zonal offices across the state, disclosed that the initiative will enable government services are closer to the people.

The agency head also stressed that the office will enhance it’s capacity and swift response to environmental concerns within Amuwo-Odofin and beyond.

He engaged with the staff on possible operational challenges and strategies for improving service delivery. Ajayi also emphasized the agency’s commitment towards equipping zonal offices with the necessary resources and support to build staff capacity for greater productivity.
