The Lagos State Government has scheduled Wednesday 28, May for the commencement of entrance examination into secondary schools.
The State Government through it’s Examination Board made the declaration on Tuesday, informing school authorities to quicken the preparations of their candidates as the examination date approaches.
The Board relayed that the assessment which will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) will run through Thursday 29th across five designated centres in the state.
Director of the Board, Orunsolu Adebayo, advised parents and guardians to jettison anyone claiming to be able to secure admission for the candidate informing that the screening test would be the only pathway into JSS 1 class and model colleges.
Adebayo implored the candidates to visit the boards portal: https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng with username and password to print out a clear copy of their sitting arrangement as perquisite for the exam.
“The candidates that pass and meet the required cut-off marks will be offered admission into any Model Colleges and upgraded Junior Secondary Schools irrespective of their first or second choice,” he said.
