Lagos To Arraign Two Miscreants, 12 Others For Illegal Street Trading

The Lagos State Government is set to arriagn two street urchins alongside 12 others who have indulged in illegal street trading.
The individuals were arrested by the state’s Environmental Sanitation Corps, LAGESC, having been caught in the prohibited acts at Mile 2 area of the state on Tuesday.
LAGESC disclosed that the offenders violated the state’s environmental laws and have been found culpable of breach of peace practices.
The arrestees: Kayode Solomon, 30, Destiny Chima, 48, Abdullahi Saidu, 25, Egbe Robinson, 20, Ekundayo John, 18, Francis David, 25, Aminu Mohammed, 21, Isa Iliyasu, 25, Ibikunle Seyi, 23, Wasiu Salami, 33, Sulaiman Lawal, 19, Temitope Olawale, 23, Qassim Yusuf, 23 and Olamide Favour,18, were arrested during an enforcement operation at Charity Bridge in Mile 2.
“All suspects will be prosecuted in accordance with the relevant law of the state,” the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab said.
