Lagos TAMPAN Set To Host 2025 Conference

The Lagos State Theater and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) is set to host its 2025 Conference.

TAMPAN President, Bolaji Amusan, informed during a press briefing in Abeokuta on Friday, that the upcoming event will be held to commemorate the support showed by the Lagos State government to the thespians’ group.

Amusan, said that the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has given support to the creative industry leading to remarkable  developments of the association.

The group’s President also mentioned that the conference aimed at fostering creativity and innovation within the industry, will feature presentations from each state contingent, showcasing their unique perspectives on the conference theme.

Amusan disclosed that the highlight of the event will be the conferment of the prestigious TAMPAN Pillar of Arts Award to Governor Sanwo-Olu in recognition of his unwavering support for the creative sector in Lagos State.

Other awardee at the event will be the Onipokia of Ipokia who will be honored as the Royal Patron of TAMPAN.

Stakeholders of the association disclosed that over 8,000 participants from chapters worldwide will grace the occasion billed for two venues: the Lagos Television Complex in Ikeja and the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba.

The event will bring together industry icons, Board of Trustees members, Board Fellows, and leaders from various guilds and task teams for a series of discussions and presentations.

TAMPAN also called for partnership from organizations in promoting the conference, emphasizing the importance of public awareness and a collective effort to address national challenges.
