Lagos State Skill Acquisition Training 12th Graduation: Sanwo-Olu Urges Graduands To Utilize Knowledge Gained

The 12th graduation ceremony of the Lagos State Skill Acquisition Centers was held at De Blue Roof, LTV, Agidingbi, Ikeja. The event was graced by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

At the event, 800 artisans and 400 tradesmen 60 active traders’ movement were gifted modern tools and equipment for their various specialty to help improve their businesses.

This programme was organized by the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment for citizens of are interested in learning a craft and acquiring a skill. The graduates had completed the eight-week immense vocational training.

In his account, the Governor said “The training aimed to improve their technical and entrepreneurial skills, broadening their knowledge and boosting their productivity and competitiveness in the marketplace.

Artisans and tradesmen are the backbone of our state’s economy. The training focused on empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with modern techniques to enhance productivity and income.

I hope the skills gained will lead to a significant turnaround in their jobs and economic situations.
