Lagos Lawmaker to Distribute School Materials, Scholarships in Back-to-School Initiative

The lawmaker representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency 01 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji (OON), has unveiled the 2025 edition of his annual Back-to-School Support Initiative to assist parents and schoolchildren in the constituency.
The programme is scheduled to hold on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the Fagba Junior Grammar School Field, Iju Station Bus Stop, by 10:00 a.m.
Organised under the platform of Adewale Temitope Adedeji Educational Initiatives (ATA-EI), the intervention will provide thousands of pupils with essential learning materials, including 500 mathematical sets, 500 school bags, 1,000 pairs of socks, 1,000 pens, 6,000 notebooks, and 500 water bottles. Scholarship slots and other academic support opportunities will also be offered.
Hon. Adewale Temitope said the programme reflects his commitment to education as a foundation for building what he described as an “unmatched generation.” He explained that providing students with the necessary tools not only motivates them academically but also relieves parents of the financial pressure associated with preparing children for a new school year.
The Back-to-School Support Initiative has become an annual event under ATA-EI, complementing other educational programmes such as free JAMB and GCE forms, scholarships, and admission facilitation for students in Ifako-Ijaiye.
