Lagos Lawmaker Launches Digital Academy

In a ground-breaking development aimed at revolutionizing ICT education and training in Kosofe I, the dynamic Chairman of the Lagos State House of Assembly’s Committee on Local Government Administration, Chieftaincy Affairs & Rural Development, Mr. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon, has launched a pioneering Free Digital Academy, titled ‘OKLA Computer Academy’.

 

Echonews reports that the innovative platform is poised to revolutionize the landscape of ICT education and skill development within the constituency, empowering local residents to harness the immense potential of digital technology and catalyze sustainable socioeconomic growth and development.

 

 

At the launch ceremony of the OKLA Computer Academy, Mr. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon emphasized the transformative power of this state-of-the-art digital learning platform, emphasizing that it will harness the power of technology to equip the youths in his constituency with the essential skills, knowledge, and expertise they require to become impactful leaders in their chosen fields.

 

Mr. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to ensuring that his constituents, regardless of their current level of digital literacy, have equitable access to the revolutionary learning opportunities offered by the OKLA Computer Academy.

 

In addition, Mr. Okanlawon underscored the fact that the launch of the OKLA Computer Academy is a strategic step towards building a technologically literate community, especially in light of the demands of the 21st-century economy, where it is vital to nurture and equip our youth with digital proficiency from a young age.

 

During the launch, each student was presented with a training manual/Handbook to aid in their learning and skill development.
