The chairman of Lagos Island East LCDA, Hon. Dr. Muibi Alade Folawiyo has procured official cars to the council management members and political appointees to aid their official movements around the state.
Giving his speech at the event, the council chairman said the beneficiaries deserved the gift because they have contributed immensely to his administration as he call on them to imbibe in more entrepreneurial skills that will make his administration more viable.
“I gave out 26 SUV official cars to LIELCDA vice chairman, SLG, council manager, chief of staff, council leader, councilors, supervisors and special advisers.
“The official presentation of the cars to the beneficiaries is well deserved, a good gesture and more because they have contributed immensely to the successes of my administration and that the gesture was to appreciate them for their dedication.
“I called on the beneficiaries to continue to imbibe entrepreneurial skills that will make LIELCDA administration more viable.
“We are on a long journey together. I am urging you to deploy entrepreneurial sense in your duties so that our government can make more impact.”
