Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority, LASPPPA, has frowned at the flagrant disobedience to state law by developers.
A statement by the authority said it had observed flagrant disregard to stop – work order, seal up and other notices served on contravening properties.
It said that this was discovered during a recent routine monitoring for compliance exercise of the Enforcement Unit of the Authority.
It called on the owners/Developers of some properties previously sealed upon the Authority”s discovery that they have fake Planning Permit to desist from work.
According to the statement, some of these defaulting developer have continued construction without first obtaining genuine Planning Permit.
The Authority called on properties owners to visit LASPPPA District Offices closest to them or her Head Office at Oba Akinjobi Way, GRA, Ikeja, to perfect their Planning Permit in accordance to the Physical Planning Permit Laws of Lagos State.
