Lagos Federal Lawmaker Organizes Town Hall Meeting

The Lawmaker representing Oshodi federal Cosntituency I at the Green chamber, Mr Bashiru Dawodu during the week organized a Stake holder/ Town Hall meeting at the council’s legislative hall.

The chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede at the meeting assured residents of the council that his administration will not disappoint them in continually delivering people oriented infrastructure for their benefit.

Oloyede thanked the residents who represented their various communities and groups for their choice to have elected the All Progressives Congress at all levels into office, saying the gesture will not be taking for granted. He also thanked them for their resilience and faith in the party.

He assured that he, along with the House of Assembly member, Mr. Stephen Ogundipe and Mr. Bashiru Dawodu will not let the people down.

He said; “I want to congratulate you for making the right choice and voting the three of us, let me assure you that we will not dissapoint you. We will contunally work to bring more dividends of democracy to the people.”

He said the synergy between them has started to bring positive fruit, saying it is just the beginning as more dividends of democracy will be delivered.

Ogundipe also welcomed constituents. He urged the youth to follow the laid down procedure in airing their grievances rather than resulting to the use of social media.

The convener, Mr Bashiru Dawodu used the avenue to reel out his achievements while promising the residents to do more. He said he was there to listen to the needs of the people.

Also engaging the residents was Alh. Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), national president designate of NURTW, who commended the synergy and spirit of brotherhood that exist amongst the elected officials. He disclosed that the current peace, harmony and development currently experienced in Oshodi is due to the synergy amongst them. He implored them to keep up the spirit.
