Lagos Ex-Corps Member Celebrates NYSC Arrears Payment With Joyful Post

A former National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member in Lagos State, Thomas Frank, has taken to social media to share his excitement about receiving a payment of N44,000 from the Federal Government.
Frank shared a screenshot of the alert in a Facebook community group, noting that it was his first arrears payment since completing his service in 2024
He said ” Just got my arrears today…. This is my first 44k, keystone bank . For those of you still waiting, hopefully before the end of today you’d receive yours.
I’m in batch C1 2024, Lagos”.
Recall that in light of the recent increase in NYSC allowance from N33,000 to N77,000, the Federal Government reiterated its commitment to honoring outstanding arrears for former corps members.
