Lagos APC Denies Reports of SLG Recall

The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports claiming that the State Chairman ordered the recall of all Secretaries to the Local Government and supervisors to the party secretariat in Acme over alleged directives from the Villa.
In a statement and during a telephone conversation with our correspondent, the Lagos State APC spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, described the report as false and misleading, stating that it was designed to create unnecessary tension within the party and among the public.
Oladejo clarified that no such directive was issued by the State Chairman and that no emergency meeting had been scheduled as speculated in some reports.
He added that the Lagos APC remains committed to due process, transparency and internal discipline in all its activities.
According to him, the party’s current focus is on strengthening its structures ahead of the forthcoming national elections, improving internal processes and ensuring effective mobilisation for continued success at the polls.
He urged party members, supporters and the general public to disregard rumours capable of causing unnecessary tension, noting that official information will continue to be communicated through recognised party channels.
