KWAM 1’s Daughter Dami Marshall Debunks Dating Rumours with Asake

Dami Marshall, daughter of Fuji music icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has dismissed rumours suggesting she is in a romantic relationship with Nigerian singer Asake.
Speculation began after Dami shared a photo of herself with the award-winning artiste at a recent event, captioned “Mr Money and Mrs Money” — a phrase closely associated with Asake’s stage persona. The post quickly sparked online gossip, with several blogs linking the pair romantically.
However, Dami has moved to set the record straight, making it clear that there is no relationship between them.
According to her, the photo was taken during her first-ever meeting with the singer and was not intended to suggest anything beyond a light-hearted moment.
“Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic,” she wrote on her Instagram page, shutting down the rumours.
Asake, whose real name is Ahmed Ololade, has kept his private life largely out of the public eye. He is not currently known to be in any public relationship since his reported breakup with his former girlfriend, Madame Mystique, in 2014.
