Kosofe LG Chairman Presents 2025 Budget of ₦6.7 Billion Tagged “Renewed Hope”

Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, has presented the proposed 2025 budget, tagged “Renewed Hope”, to the Kosofe Legislative Arm.
The budget presentation underscores the administration’s commitment to inclusive development and impactful governance aimed at addressing the pressing needs of Kosofe residents.
The proposed budget, valued at ₦6,738,925,608.28, was unveiled during a well-attended session at the Council’s Legislative Chamber, with key stakeholders, including traditional rulers, market representatives, and party faithful, in attendance.
In his address, Barr. Ogunlewe stated that the 2025 budget reflects his administration’s dedication to fostering growth and ensuring no resident is left behind.
“This budget is a reflection of our commitment to renewing the hope of Kosofe residents. It prioritizes critical sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and social welfare,” he said.
The Chairman also presented a review of the 2024 approved budget, highlighting achievements in revenue generation, recurrent expenditure, and capital projects. He emphasized that the proposed 2025 budget is carefully designed to build on these successes and cater to the developmental needs of Kosofe.
